The video series is designed to show the variety of dogs that can be encountered. Some are very straightforward, and others have unusual responses and funny idiosyncrasies. Julie tries to show you how to think about approaching dogs that “don’t do what they are supposed to.” What do you do when things don’t work? How can you think about this so you don’t get too frustrated or disappointed, or worse yet: give up on yourself or your dog?
Establish the language of communication and the relationship between you and your dog
Effectively go through the process in which you teach the ethics of bird handling
Take the responses taught in basic obedience and use them to comprehend a new form of enforcement pressure
Understand the mental process for a dog to understand staying in place under extreme circumstances
